5th Day of Christmas: Sacred Pause.
An invitation to breathe, linger, or revisit the journey—because pausing is as important as journeying.
"The present moment is
when the temporal lingers with the eternal."
—Inspired by Søren Kierkegaard
Dear fellow pilgrim,
On this Sunday, we pause. Because pausing is as important as journeying.
Let this time be a sacred moment to breathe, to be, to rest—an invitation to renew your spirit.
Take a moment to linger with the image above.
Notice the stillness of the water, the gentle curve of the bridge, the soft light breaking through the mist.
If one of our previous 12 Day Contemplations would help you arrive in stillness and be present to this Sunday, you might revisit one from earlier in the journey or begin where it feels right for you. Everyone’s rhythm is different, and there is no wrong way to walk this path.
Blessings on your stillness, Almut, with Chuck and little one
PS: We will be back tomorrow with a reflection on how to gather the year and Tuesday with a Blessing at the turn of the year.
