Thank you, Almut. I feel a similar slowing down of everything wintering here in Maine. Many people only live here in the summers, and restaurants close till Spring. We have been hit with storm after storm, and the best thing to do is sit by the fire with a pile of books (or my laptop and Substack. I'm learning to enjoy the empty space.
